Our Tree in Autumn Our tree is called an Escarpment Oak. It
is right in front of our school.
It is very old, probably over a hundred years.
You can see the bark and the leaves when you get closer. Did you know
the oak tree is the national tree of America? Oak wood is very hard. We use oak trees for many things, like houses,
boats, furniture, swings, doors, school desks and chairs, rafts, toys,
clocks, and sculpture. |
