Mrs. Volpicelli's
Class - Winter Art Work |
We made some observations about our class tree. We noticed that the tree is still tall, but the branches are completely bare. Some of the branches have even fallen off. There seems to be some sort of bush that has intertwined itself in the tree branches that has little red berries. Other than that, there is no color to the tree. It actually looks dead. We drew what our tree looked like. Take a look.

In the winter, it gets very cold. We dressed our dolls in clothing we felt was appropriate for the weather. We then wrote a short paragraph explaining why we chose the clothing we did and why it was appropriate for winter. Take a look...

![]() My doll is dressed for the winter. He’s wearing a coat because he wants to be warm. He’s also wearing a hat and mittens, because when he plays in the snow, he doesn’t want frostbite. He is wearing pants and boots to block the snow from getting on his legs. By Erik |
![]() I chose this clothing for my doll because it will keep her warm. The shirt I chose is a sweatshirt. It has long sleeves and is thick. I put jeans on my doll because they are thicker and will keep her legs warm. Her hat, mittens, and scarf will keep her head, hands, and neck warm. The clothes on my doll will keep her cozy and warm all winter. When it snows, she is ready to go sleigh riding. By Meagan |
