Our Tree in Autumn

October 16:
The tree we adopted is located in front of our school on the kindergarten playground. We see our tree every morning as we arrive to school. We also can observe changes our tree has made throughout the year as we walk over to music class in one of the mobile classrooms. Our tree is a maple tree. It is very tall. It has red, orange, and yellow leaves on it. Our tree makes the letter Y with its trunk and branches. The tree stands next to the sandbox.
October 23:
After a heavy rain and windstorm,
our tree has now lost all of its leaves.

Here is our tree in the winter. There are no leaves on our tree right now.
Our tree is covered with lots of snow. The snow acts like a blanket for our tree.
Our tree is sleeping during the season of winter.
