Our Norway Maple Tree in Autumn

Mrs. Frankfort's Class - Fall Tree

On October 19, 2006, Class 2F adopted a class tree. Our tree has lots of yellow, orange, and green leaves. It is in the Thomas Jefferson courtyard. There are 3 birdfeeders hanging from the tree. Our tree has bumpy bark. The circumference of our tree is 56 inches.

Our Tree in Winter

We noticed that our tree was bare. All the leaves have fallen off. There are some reddish brown buds on the branches and there is green moss growing on the trunk of the tree. There are three scars on the trunk of the tree from where three branches were cut.
