Our Tree in Autumn

Mrs. Meier's Class and their fall tree

Dear Weather Pals,

The weather in Hartland during the month of October was mostly sunny and cloudy with a lot of rainy days. We even had a snowy day early in the month! We had fun making snowballs on that day!
The temperature ranged from 42-51 in the morning. We have been wearing long pants, long sleeved shirts, and jackets. Some days we even need our gloves!
Our tree is now bare. All of the tress are getting bare. We had fun going on a nature walk and collecting the fall leaves for our projects.
We look forward to hearing about Fall in your area. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

Our Tree in Winter

Winter Tree

Hello Weather Pals!

Winter in Hartland, Michigan was mostly sunny the first week of February.  We had 2 days off that week because it was TOO COLD!!  The wind chill was 20 degrees below zero!  We had another day off in January because it was too icy on the roads!

The trees in February were bare and white.  We had no big snowfalls.  We were wearing sweatshirts, snowpants, jackets, hats, gloves, boots, scarves, and sweaters to school.

We are excited to see that spring is starting to arrive and it is getting warmer outside.
