Our Tree in Winter Here
are some pictures from our snowstorms from February 6-12, 2010. Yes, it was a blizzard with lots of snow
and blowing snow. Our governor
declared it a state of emergency! It
began snowing Friday afternoon and by the time it stopped on Saturday we had
almost 20 inches. It snowed again each
day and added another 6-8 inches. Many
of us were without power. The roads
were impassible. We missed 4 days of
school. We returned with a two hour
delay on Friday, February 12, were in school on Monday, February 15 and then
off for another snow day on Tuesday, February 16. We came back today with another two hour
delay! Our temperatures have never
gotten back to freezing so none of the snow has melted. We are having the 2nd snowiest
February on record and it is only February 17. We may break the record!
