is about the quarter of Oklahoma. Oklahoma’s date of entry to the
union was November 6, 1907. It was the 46th state. The people who submitted
the entries were over 1,000 citizens. The final decision was made by
the citizens in a vote. The objects and arrangements are the Scissortailed
Flycatcher flying over the state wildflower, the Indian blanket. The
Scissortailed Flycatcher is the state bird. The Indian Blanket symbolizes
the rich heritage of the Native Americans. |
