Task 6:Now that you understand the parts of a flower, you need to learn how seeds are made. Seeds are made through the process of pollination. Pollination is the process by which pollen is transferred from flower to flower by insects, birds, or the wind. Click on the bee to find out different ways plants are pollinated. In addition to pollination, I need to tell you about seed dispersal. Did you know that not all seeds are planted by humans? Plants use different ways to scatter their seeds. These include water, animals, and wind. Click on the butterfly to find out more about the different ways plants disperse (scatter) their seeds. Now, it’s time to complete Task 6 in your TOP SECRET Plant Journal.
