Our ThinkQuest USA Team has! So we wanted to know if the other students at our school have too. We decided to ask 4th and 5th grade students by conducting a survey. We used Microsoft Excel 2000 to calculate their responses and create graphs from the data collected.

The survey was given in December 2001 to 73 fourth grade students and 70 fifth grade students. Tennessee and Ohio state quarters were not included in the survey because they had not been introduced at that time.
Each member of our team was responsible for collecting data from a 4th and a 5th grade class.  First, we explained why they were taking the survey. Then we told them what we were going to use the data for.
